I’m currently reading a book which is putting me on a path of change. The book is ON OUR BEST BEHAVIOR by Elise Loehnen. Regardless of your thoughts about religion or spiritual matters, if you are a person who identifies as female or as a woman in universal ways, the seven deadly sins have put us on such a track, we don’t even realize we are on it, especially if you are aware of trying to be a “good” person in the body that you are in. This apple series represents the first four deadly sins and gives us a chance to see these loaded and complex fruits a whole new perspective. Apple #2 represents the chapter on ENVY, and the fact that we have been steeped in the belief that ENVY is evil, but if we allow ourselves to be aware of what is behind envy and jealousy, we can learn that those feelings are telling us what we really want for ourselves. Instead of beating ourselves up for those feelings, figure out how you can use those feelings and information to lead you to your best life. The life you want, the life you deserve.
