Dirty Pretty Times Unframed Canvas Wall Art 30x30"
Had the pleasure of trying a new place in PDX called Dirty Pretty. The food was amazing, the beverages were lovely and the decor was so fun and engaging. Loved the whole experience so this art piece was inspired by the feeling that I got while enjoying that Dirty Pretty space and time. I’ll describe it as being held in a warm ball of light while floating in space. Thanks to the staff for being wonderful!
Each custom stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print, produced from a choice of substrates. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine - in any size needed up to a maximum of 3 metres - and stretch the rolled canvas print over it.
We use finger jointed canvas frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimize the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
