We Didn't Want This Unframed Canvas Wall Art 30x30"
Well people, sometimes in life things happen that we just don’t want. We didn’t ask for it, we didn’t do anything to cause it. No matter how you look at it, is NOT your fault. No way no how, we haven’t chosen this thing, but somehow it has become a part of our life’s experience and it has chosen us.
What can we do about these things? Do we just accept it and deal with it best that we can? Do we rant against it and say how much we don’t want this in our lives at every opportunity?
Do we scream and cry and punch a pillow? Maybe? That can help a little bit.
I love the meme of the dog sitting in the room where flames are engulfing everything and the dog is sipping coffee and maintaining that THIS IS FINE. It seems like when things are at their worst and are the most out of our control, we look for a way to make sense of it and at least be able to continue on with some normalcy.
Like that dog, we want to keep sipping our coffee and somehow manage to survive the leses than ideal situation. in every case, no matter how dire, we do have some control. I think that is where our strength to survive this THING lives. We can find the things that are possible for us to do to help us feel empowered and to let us decide how much of this thing we want to take over our day to day lives.
We can lean into self-care, we can try to ensure our best health that we can muster and do what we can to improve our mental outlook. We can journal to capture all our feelings, the good the bad and the ugly. We can reach out to friends. We can take action to try to improve the situation.
This art captures the feeling of chaos we didn’t choose and how to find ourselves despite it.May we all find the ways we can take back control and do what we must to keep ourselves mentally and physically strong to keep on keeping on. #wedidntwantthis #notmyfault. #wedidntchoosethis #empower #selfcare #youhavecontrol #fineartprints #abstractart #somethinggoodcanwork #roadtonowhere

Each custom stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print, produced from a choice of substrates. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine - in any size needed up to a maximum of 3 metres - and stretch the rolled canvas print over it.
We use finger jointed canvas frames to create corner tension which helps to resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden ‘wedges’ to each corner; ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.
All canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimize the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
