Ground yourself in being
Recently I have faced some health issues that could be life and death, but I am still here. My favorite self care book written by Dr. Zoe Shaw, A Year of Self Care-Daily practices and inspiration for caring for yourself.
Cannot recommend this enough. This week brought me this lovely message: Mediate on the vastness of the world. Remember you are part of the whole and although you belong to the wide tapestry of life, the reality of your very existence is in fact so beautifully uncomplicated. You are HERE. You matter. It is that wonderfully simple.
Love this and this really resounds with me in light of coming face to face with my own life’s limitations and that I won’t be here forever, but i am here today. It is up to me to do what I can with each day to bring my best self to the situation.
For any of you that can relate, I am sending you strength and encouragement for the complexities that you may face and hoping you can keep grounding yourself in the fact that you are here today. Cheers kind people!
